The courses described in this web site were initiated by Venerable Miaolung of San Bao Temple and they are conducted with her guidance.
San Bao Temple
Fo Guang Shan San Bao Temple and Bookstore are located in the heart of San Francisco.
It is one of the overseas temples of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist temple group.
San Bao Temple was founded in 1989.
San Bao Temple and Fo Guang Bookstore were inaugurated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun in 1991.
Our four principles are : using culture to promote Buddhism;
using education to cultivate qualified personnel;
applying compassion and implementing charity to benefit society;
using religious services to sanctify the mind.
